The North Judson Town Board is considering a parking ordinance in case of a snow emergency. The recent snow event proved problematic for the Street Department to push snow off the town streets around parked cars. The Board commended the Street Department on their efforts and thanked Doug O’Donnell and Jim Menis for offering their personal vehicles to assist in snow removal for the town.
The Board learned that efforts are being made to make the restrooms in the old firehouse ADA compliant. One restroom has met the requirements at this time. The building is available to be used as a community center and is open for public rental.
North Judson Interim Post Master, Marlene Chambers, informed the Board that discussion is being held to possibly move the drop off boxes from the front of the Post Office to another location.
