If you are interested in the efforts of Operation Quiet Comfort, you are invited to a “Celebrate and Support our Troops Night” tonight at the Memories Reception Hall in Plymouth. Tickets are $15.00 and all money goes to the Operation Quiet Comfort activities.
“We’ll be explaining what Quiet Comfort is and what we do,” said Coordinator Jan Houin. “We will have some military people who will be sharing affirmation of what the Quiet Comfort organization does. Those same military people will tell how much the troops appreciate our efforts. Finally, there will be displays of what we send the injured troops, from blue jean quilts to hygiene kits.”
The doors open at 5:30 p.m., the dinner is at 6:00 p.m. and the program begins at 6:30 p.m. ET.
