The Winamac High School and Alumni Association is extending an invitation to all Winamac graduates to attend the annual alumni banquet. The annual event will take place at the Church of the Heartland in Winamac on Saturday, June 16th, at 5:00 p.m. ET.
Winamac Community High School classes of 1992 through 2012 will be inducted into the Alumni Association, and classes of 1982, ’72, ’62, and ’52 will be honored for their anniversaries during the banquet. A bylaws change was recently approved by the Executive Directors of the organization to allow all graduates upon high school commencement to become members of the Alumni Association– a change from the previous guidelines which required that members be inducted only when their class has reached its twentieth anniversary of graduation.
Advisory Board Chairperson Karen Haschel has been working with class representatives, ensuring that the alumni association has all the class lists up to date with correct addresses of graduates from Winamac. If you are a class officer or a representative who may have a list of class names and addresses, especially those from the classes of ’92 to 2012, please forward that information to winamacalumni@yahoo.com.
