Four people have been arrested in connection with a battery incident.
The victim was reportedly at a home in Monterey on May 3rd and left for a while. His mother was attempting to call him because of the delay in his return and an elderly gentleman arrived at the residence with the victim who had been severely beaten.
The victim stated that he had gotten a ride with John Potter and went to a residence in Fulton County. John Potter, Daily James Potter, Brenan Sanchez, Jamal Green and the victim then left that residence and went for a ride. They stopped alongside the road and all of them got out of the car and that’s when the alleged battery occurred.
Police were told that the suspects were allegedly kicking the victim and hitting him with various objects. One suspect reportedly pulled a gun and threatened to shoot him. After the alleged incident was over, they reportedly took $400 and prescription medication from the victim. When he arrived back home, the police were called and then he was taken to the hospital and later flown to South Bend Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
