Gas Prices Expected to Rise

Gas prices have fallen nearly 12 cents over the last two weeks, but it looks like that trend may be coming to a stop.

The average cost of a gallon of regular gasoline is $3.26, down 58 cents over the past 11 weeks.

Analysts say higher crude oil prices will turn into higher wholesale gasoline prices.  Expect prices to jump 5 or 10 cents per gallon soon.

The average national price is two cents higher than it was a year ago. Current prices in the area are hovering around $3.20 a gallon for unleaded gasoline.

Around the nation, the city with the lowest average price is Tucson, Arizona, at $2.90 per gallon.
