New Technology Classes Offered At Culver-Union Township Public Library

For those of you who receive a new electronic device for Christmas and have no idea how to use it, worry not – Culver-Union Township Public Library recently announced a number of new technology classes they will begin offering in January. Two weeks of classes are scheduled for January, in addition to a class on Overdrive, their new downloadable eBook and Audiobook service.

Classes will be offered to cover basic operation of numerous devices, including Android smartphones and tablets, iPads, iPods, iPhones, Kindles and Nooks. If you have a device that you want to learn how to use but it’s not covered on the list, the instructors will still demonstrate features and functionality.

The first Electronic Devices class will take place on Jan. 7 at 6 p.m. and again on Jan. 9 at 6 p.m., while the second part of the class will be Jan. 14 at 6 p.m. and Jan. 18 at 10 a.m. at the Culver-Union Township Public Library.

The OverDrive eBook Workshop is scheduled for Jan. 21 and 24 at 6 p.m. These classes are free and open to the public. For more information, contact Andrew Baker at abaker@culver.lib.in.us or (574)-842-2941.
