Plymouth Schools Receive $15,000 Grant for e-Learning

The Plymouth School Corporation proudly announced that it will soon receive an e-Learning grant from the Indiana Department of Education – one of only 17 schools in the state to earn the competitive $15,000 grant.

The grant will be used to allow several Plymouth teachers and administrators to attend the 2013 Summer e-Learning Regional Conference, which Senior e-Learning Strategist Jason Bailey said will ensure that all educators are provided technology-rich professional development. Details of the conference offerings will be released in the spring of 2013.

Plymouth School Assistant Superintendent Dan Funston and Technology Curriculum Director Brooke Busse wrote the application for the grant, along with the assistance of Allison Holland. Busse and Holland also serve as e-Learning coaches at the Plymouth schools for not just students, but teachers as well.
