parents. They were all taken to IU Health Starke Hospital to be checked out after bus 37 was hit by a truck as it was crossing Heaton Street at Lake Street by One Stop just before 8 a.m. The bus driver and another adult are in stable condition at the hospital. The driver of the truck was not injured. A witness at the scene tells officers from the Knox City Police Department that a commercial truck ran the red light at the intersection and hit the bus. The crash remains under investigation, with drug and alcohol test results pending. The names of the drivers are being withheld until families are notified.
