Knox Community School Corporation Technology Director Jim Landrum was recognized by the school board during their recent meeting.
Landrum attended the Indiana Association of School Business Officials (IASBO) where he presented the school’s one-to-one computer initiative.
Landrum explained what all it takes to sustain the program, what goes into starting the program, equipment needed and a plan on how to move forward with the program.
The corporation has been a part of the one-to-one computer initiative for a year-and-a-half and it has been a positive experience for teachers and students. Students have been doing assignments and homework on their own computers given to them by the school.
The IASBO representatives were impressed with the corporation’s success and plans for the program.
