Presenter to Discuss History of Civil War Clothing April 22

  
 
Jane Cole, owner of the Cole Clothing Museum, will be addressing attendees about the history of clothing during the Civil War Era on April 22 at 6 p.m. ET at the Pulaski County Public Library in Winamac. Cole will also discuss how to care for and preserve historical clothing.

The Pulaski County Junior Historical Society, the sponsor of this event, was recently awarded an Indiana Humanities Council grant. The funds were used to help bring this program to you. The remainder of the funding will be used to help support the club and its many activities slated for this year.

The Pulaski County Junior Historical Society Civil War Club explores Pulaski County residents’ involvement in the Civil War through those who served in Company B, 87th Infantry Regiment, and Company H, 46th Infantry Regiment.

All youth, ages 12-18 are invited to be a part of this club which is organized in partnership with the Pulaski County Historical Society, Pulaski Circuit Court and the Pulaski County Extension Office.
