A LaPorte man was arrested Sunday after a hit-and-run accident.
The victim told police that she and her boyfriend, 31-year-old Joshua Creed, had an argument while driving home. She exited the vehicle and called her male friend to pick her up. When the man came to pick her up, she saw Creed sitting in his vehicle across the street.
After the victim got into her friend’s pickup, Creed allegedly rammed his car into the pickup. Creed’s vehicle struck the truck in the driver’s door. Creed then reportedly backed up and hit the pickup again before leaving the scene.
Upon learning the details of this incident, LaPorte police located Creed on McClung Road and he was arrested on a preliminary charge of Criminal Recklessness.
The victim was treated by EMS for a complaint of back pain.
