The Marshall County Council and commissioners will be meeting in joint session this morning to receive information on the impact of the Affordable Health Care Act regarding part-time employees, and the resulting changes to the personnel policy.
All department heads are asked to attend this meeting to absorb the county’s health care representatives facts on the matter. That discussion is expected to begin approximately one hour after the start of the joint meeting which is scheduled for 9 a.m. ET in the County Building.
Other officials are on the agenda with specific issues, including Judge Dean Colvin, Marshall County Police Captain Dan Butt, Jay Bahr with the Marshall County Economic Development Commission, and Jackie Wright with Older Adult Services.
