Plymouth Man Arrested on Intimidation Charge

A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday evening after he allegedly intimidated some residents.

Plymouth police officers were flagged down by a citizen saying that a man was outside the Brass Rail in downtown Plymouth and brandished a pair of brass knuckles, lifted his shirt and asked for food.

Officers spotted the suspect in front of the Plymouth City Building. The suspect, later identified as 23-year-old Aaron Chipman, became agitated when police came in contact with him and brass knuckles were found in his possession.

Chipman was detained and taken to the Plymouth Police Department where he later allegedly confessed to attempting to intimidate the victims into giving him food. Chipman was then arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of Intimidation.
