South Bend Woman Arrested in Plymouth Burglary

A woman was arrested on Friday, June 14 after police found she allegedly stole coins from a Plymouth residence.

A burglary was reported by the homeowner in the 300 block of North Plum Street on Monday, June 10 where a large amount of coins had been taken from the home.

After an investigation, the coins had been cashed at the Kroger store. Video evidence showed a male and female with the coins. The man was interviewed and reportedly pointed a finger at the female suspect, 21-year-old Tomica Teetz. He told police that she had been visiting a neighbor of the victim on the night of the incident in question.

Teetz was found in South Bend on June 14 and questioned. Teetz allegedly admitted to the offense and was incarcerated in the Marshall County Jail. She has a $20,000 surety bond or $5,000 cash bond.
