“This is the first time we have had a bus inspection during the school year but things went very well,” explained Mellon. “All of the buses passed inspection. I want to thank the maintenance staff and the drivers for keeping their buses in good running order.”
The board members also reviewed a student drug testing policy for students involved in extra-curricular activities and those who drive to school. They also upgraded the Acceptable Use Policy which was approved during the recent meeting. This was due to the implementation of the one-to-one computing initiative.
The student handbooks were also approved.
