By the looks of the campaign signs posted in parts of Starke County, you can see there will be a battle on the ballot for Starke County Sheriff. What other Starke County offices are up for election in 2014?
In addition to sheriff, the prosecuting attorney’s position is up for election as well as county clerk; county auditor; county recorder; county coroner; county assessor; county commissioner district 2 (California, Center and Davis Townships); county council district 1, district 2, district 3 and district 4; center township assessor, and all township trustees.
The Culver Community School district voters will elect an at-large board member in the North Bend Township area. The Knox Community School district voters will select a California Township board member, and Center 1 and Washington Township seat. The Oregon-Davis school district voters will elect district 1, district 2 and district 3 representatives.
