Power from the Past Begins Thursday, Preview Night Wednesday

  
 
The Northern Indiana Power from the Past event kicks off this week, with preview night scheduled for Wednesday beginning at 4:30 p.m. with the HAP’s Chicken Bash sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 229. Thursday marks the start of the daily events with entertainment including Jim Kersting and the Monday Nite Pickers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and square dancing with Ralph Hardy beginning at 7 p.m. Line Dancing with the Tri County Kickers will take place as well.

The fair runs through Sunday, July 21 with a variety of daily events that include a flea market, antiques and collectibles, working displays, gas engines, antique tractors, steam engines and garden tractors, as well as threshing, saw mills, baling, old craft demonstrations and a variety of other events and attractions.

Friday events include Son Shine Boys entertaining from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and at 8 p.m., live entertainment will be provided by The Bronk Brothers country music.

A $3 gate fee is charged that covers all daily activities, stage events, and the horse pull. A four-day pass can be purchased for $9. Children under 12 years old are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. For more information or to view the full flyer, click here.
