Three Scholarships Available for Starke County Residents

 
 

Three scholarships administered by the Northern Indiana Community Foundation for the Starke County Community Foundation are available to Starke County residents this summer. These scholarships support students currently attending college, as well as non-traditional students

The Back Home Again in Indiana Scholarship is specifically for non-traditional students which helps those who wish to further their education and/or training as a way of enhancing their employment skills.

The Legacy of Women Scholarship is for non-traditional students and is designed to support Starke County women who wish to further their education and/or training as a way of enhancing their employment skills. Women are also eligible if they wish to re-enter the job market.

The Forrest and Helen Whitson Scholarship is open to sophomores in college or higher and attend Purdue University’s School of Engineering, Agriculture or Consumer and Family Living (Family Sciences). Applicants must be a graduate of a Starke County high school.
