Blueberry Festival in Plymouth Continues This Weekend

  
 
The Blueberry Festival in Plymouth is underway, having opened the carnival gates on Thursday and officially beginning festival events on Friday, sponsored by Hoosier Racing Tire. Friday featured events such as White Tiger Discovery, the Little Miss and Mr. Blueberry Contest, Senter Street Dancers, and the Blueberry Idol Karaoke Competition. Many other events took place Friday as well before the festival closed for the day, wrapped up by a Jake Owen concert at 9 p.m.

Today’s events include White Tiger Discovery at 9 a.m., the ABATE bike show, Historic Americana, Blueberry Golf Scramble, kids’ pedal tractor pull, a pie eating contest, Monster Energy BMX Show, Harlem Wizards basketball entertainment and countless other features. At 6:30 p.m., a hot air balloon launch will take place followed by a sky diving demonstration by Plymouth Sky Sports.

Tomorrow features attractions like the firemen’s waterball tournament, the Indiana State Champion Arm Wrestling Competition, skateboarding and cheerleading competitions, and the Blueberry Fireworks Extravaganza at 9:15 p.m.
