Fisher has been a part of the Eastern Pulaski School Corporation for 25 years, having served as an instructional assistant and she has worked with the transportation department and maintenance.
She will be working through September as she wanted to get the school year started with the bus routes and get that under control before she passes on the baton.
She told the board that she loves coming to work at Eastern Pulaski Schools and that she has no plans at the moment in her retirement.
The board thanked her for her years of service.
In other personnel business, the board approved the resignation of Dan Bailey and approved the hire of Josh Burgess who will be taking his place. Burgess will be teaching Language Arts at the 8th grade level. He taught for 11 years at Frontier schools.
