Ancilla College Offers Dual-Credit Program for High School Students

Ancilla College is offering dual-credit courses for high school students which helps reduce the impact of the cost of college.

High school juniors and seniors with a 3.0 grade point average can participate in Ancilla’s Early Bird program. A brief letter of recommendation is needed by a guidance counselor. A selection of courses is available online and students can take afternoon, evening and Saturday courses in the program.

Students can earn 15 to 30 credit hours early to lower the cost of tuition. Ancilla College’s rate is $125 per credit hour and these early credits could save a student thousands of dollars in tuition. This is particularly helpful in that the state and the federal government have reduced financial aid and tightened restrictions on who can qualify for student aid.
