The Indiana House of Representatives is now accepting applications to intern during the 2014 legislative session.

This is a paid internship and it is an opportunity for college graduates and recent graduates to be part of the legislative process. Interns will issue press releases, handle constituent work or work in the IT department.

Republican State Representative Doug Gutwein, who represents District 16, encourages you to serve in Member Services, Communications, Technology and Policy Departments. Gutwein works with interns to help them along and understand the legislative process.

Applications will be accepted until Thursday, Oct. 31 for the 2014 session. Applicants must be at least sophomores in college, graduate students or recent graduates. For more information, contact Intern Director Jason Johnson at (317) 232-9671 or Communications Intern Director Nick Goodwin at (317) 232-9831.
