Williams New Director at Pulaski County DCS Office

A new office director has been appointed to the Indiana Department of Child Services, Pulaski County office.

Crystal Williams has been appointed to set goals and objectives for child welfare management, helping to ensure children are protected from abuse or neglect. She will oversee four staff members including three family case managers.

Williams was a former community services coordinator for the Starke County prosecutor from 1995 to 1999. She also worked at the Starke County Sheriff’s Department as matron and then a dispatcher. It was in 2008 she joined the Starke County office of Department of Child Services as a family case manager where she worked until her recent appointment.

She began as the office director at the Pulaski County office on Oct. 7.
