New Executive Director Named at Marshall County Convention and Visitors Bureau

A new executive director has been named to the Marshall County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Cori Holtzwart-Humes has been named as the successor to Mike Woolfington who will be retiring at the end of the year after serving 20 years as director. Holtzwart-Humes is the assistant director at the Marshall County Convention and Visitors Bureau and has been employed there for the past five years.

She will be working to do what she can to promote Marshall County.

“I’ll be fulfilling the executive directorship and continuing promoting tourism and developing projects and events for our community. I’ll also be assisting in anything that we need to do to promote economic development and tourism in Marshall County,” commented Holtzwart-Humes.

Holtzwart-Humes is excited about her opportunity with the organization.

“I’m very excited and very honored that I was appointed by our board and lucky to do this. I’m pretty excited about it all.”

The staff at the Marshall County Convention and Visitors Bureau is working hard to promote tourism for those visiting the county and to remind the current residents of what is available to them in Marshall County.
