Indiana Senator Dan Coats is partnering with Google to present this workshop which is aimed to help small business owners create their own websites. Those in attendance will receive a customized domain name, free web hosting for a year, a local business listing on Google Maps, plus free tools, training and resources.
Google officials say that 97 percent of internet users look online for local products and services. Just over half of Indiana businesses have a website or an online presence.
