Knox Economic Development Commission to Hold Public Hearing Jan. 28

  
 

The Knox Economic Development Commission has announced it will hold a public hearing on Jan. 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Knox City Hall, to discuss a proposed refunding of outstanding bonds of the city of Knox and financing of economic development facilities for Toll IN, LLC.

The hearing will also discuss the issuance of Series 2014 bonds not to exceed $12,800,000 to refund the Series 2006 bonds, to pay project costs of the economic development facilities of Toll, and to determine whether said financing will have an adverse competitive effect on any similar facilities already constructed or operating in the city.

The proceeds of the bonds will be used for the refunding of the 2006 bonds and the financing of the renovation, expansion, construction and equipping of certain existing manufacturing facilities of Toll, located at 1805 W. Pacific Ave.
