Semi Rollover Reported in Marshall County; Driver Uninjured

 
 
A semi driver was uninjured following a single-vehicle accident in Marshall County on Friday. According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred around 11:25 p.m. on Jan. 24 near the intersection of U.S. 30 and Beech Road, where the driver of a 2006 Volvo semi lost control due to mechanical malfunctions and high wind.

Police say 57-year-old Raymond Schone of Fort Wayne was traveling westbound when the vehicle lost control. The vehicle was hauling double trailers when it turned over in the median, spilling part of its cargo. The driver was uninjured in the accident.

Assisting at the scene was Bourbon Fire Fire Department, Multi-township EMS, Bourbon Police Department and the Indiana State Police. Reichert’s Towing was called to remove the vehicle and for cleanup of the incident.
