A ten year prison sentence was handed down to Shane Graham, 23, of Plymouth Thursday.

Graham pleaded guilty in a plea agreement with the state to a charge of Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine as a Class B felony. Charges of Dealing Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine and Paraphernalia were dropped as part of the agreement. Marshall County Superior Court 1 Judge Robert O. Bowen approved a plea agreement and sentenced Graham to ten years in the Indiana Department of Corrections.

Graham admitted in a previous court setting that he participated with others in purchasing pseudoephedrine products for the purpose of manufacturing methamphetamine. He agreed with his mother, Marie Graham, to cook the drug. During a search warrant at Graham’s residence on North 4th Street in Plymouth, several items associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine were found. Other people were arrested at the residence, including Graham’s mother, Marie, who was already sentenced in this case, and his brother, whose case is still pending.

No part of Graham’s sentence was suspended and purposeful incarceration was made a part of the agreement.
