Marshall County Commissioners to Meet Today

The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today at 8:30 a.m. ET in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County building.

Building Inspector Chuck DeWitt and Museum Director Linda Rippy will be given a chance to present their quarterly reports to the board. County Attorney Jim Clevenger will also give a report on the 7th Road project and the Metronet project. Clevenger is working on several license agreements prior to construction.

The board is expected to receive more information on the sale of the New Wine Church. Brenda Hoffer has plans on purchasing the property, but the property is owned by the county and the county needs to release its revisionary interest on the parcel so the sale can be completed. The sale has been ongoing for a year. An offer has been received and the commissioners plan on acting on that during today’s meeting.

The commissioners will also approve a common construction wage committee appointment for the Metronet project.

The meeting is open to the public.
