A 19-year-old was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly made a false bomb threat.
The Plymouth Police Department received a call from Plymouth Library personnel that a bomb threat had been called into the library. The library was evacuated and after further investigation police found the threat had been phoned in using a cell phone belonging to Brentlyn Jones.
Officers later located Jones and he reportedly admitted to making the call to the library and falsely claiming that there was a bomb in the library. He also allegedly admitted to stealing items from the library earlier in the day.
Jones was arrested on preliminary charges of False Reporting of a Bomb, Theft and Illegal Consumption of Alcohol. His bond was set at $1,500 cash. He is being housed in the Marshall County Jail.
