Ribbon Cutting Planned for New Plymouth Park

  
 

The River Park Square ribbon cutting ceremony is set for Saturday, June 21 at 9 a.m. ET in Plymouth.

Mayor Mark Senter and U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly will welcome everyone to the park and cut the ribbon. Mayor Senter will also have a special unveiling.

Different demonstrations and events are planned throughout the day. A representative from “Be the Match” will be taking cheek swabs and in order to have it processed and checked against the blood marrow registry to see if residents are a match to a patient who needs a transplant. The Plymouth Fire Department will have the fire safety house and a fire engine for children to explore. Officer John Wier and his K9 partner, Jax, will also have a demonstration.

Musical entertainment will be featured and Mayor Senter will feed you with a grilled hot dog.

The River Park Square is located in downtown Plymouth on East Garro Street. Everyone is welcome to attend the activities tomorrow.
