Starke United Fund Committee Awards $12,000 in Grants

 Starke United Fund grants will be given to 13 Starke County charitable organizations this year.

Approximately $12,000 was available for this grant cycle. The Starke United Fund’s Grant Committee received 26 grant applications with requested amounts totaling $69,000.

The organizations that will receive grant assistance this year include: Starke County CASA; Center for Workforce Innovations, Inc.; Community Services of Starke County; Junior Achievement of Starke County; Kid’s Closet Ministry; NJUMC; Marshall-Starke Development Center; Moving Starke County Forward; Psi Iota Xi Sorority; SCILL Center; Starke County ABATE; Starke/Pulaski Habitat for Humanity; The Starke County Youth Club; and WIC.

The Starke United Fund grants are made possible through a partnership with Starke United and the Starke County Community Foundation. The partnership was established to provide a more efficient way for Starke United to assist non-profit organization that serve the people of Starke County.
