Kewanna Fall Festival Starts Today

 
 

The town of Kewanna will open its annual Fall Festival today. Festivities get under way at 4 p.m. EDT with carnival rides, a free circus and a library open house. The Night Shift Band perfoms at 5 p.m. while the antique tractor show will be in the park. A lumberjack show also will be in the park around 5:30 p.m. The evening will finish up with a hot dog eating contest, a pie baking contest and an auction.

Saturday will start with a biscuit and gravy breakfast at 7 a.m. The 6th annual bench press classic starts at 9 a.m. The Tippecanoe Twirlers take the stage at 11:30 a.m. while the parade steps off at 1 p.m. Other activities on the list include a 5k run and 2 mile walk, karaoke, cash prizes and live pro wrestling.

The last day of the festival will include breakfast at 7 a.m., carnival rides, a tractor pull, and a Twin River Squares performance.
