U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski’s education tour will make several stops in the area today and tomorrow. She wants to hear from education officials, community leaders and students about ways to improve opportunities and prepare students for a globally competitive workforce.
Today’s stops include a visit to West Central High School in Francesville and a stop at the Starke County Initiative for Lifelong Learning where she will get a briefing on the welding program.
Tomorrow’s agenda includes a tour of John Glenn High School in Walkerton, where Walorski will highlight their music program, and a visit to the South LaPorte County Special Education Cooperative. She will also tour Plymouth High School and hear from officials there about Project Lead The Way.
