The Indiana Department of Transportation is looking to hire seasonal workers across Northwest Indiana. Applicants seeking work this winter as a plow driver or maintenance worker must have a valid CDL, be able to pass a drug test and should preferably have a high school diploma or GED.
INDOT is hosting a job fair at the La Porte District Office on Friday, Oct. 17th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m CT. INDOT aims to hire as many as 30 seasonal employees at that time. Applicants should bring a resume, commercial driver’s license and current medical examiner’s certificate.
