Customer Turns on Drug Dealer

A teenage drug dealer has been released to the custody of his mother after being robbed and dropped off in a remote area.

LaPorte Police found the 15-year-old Illinois boy standing in the middle of the road in the 1600 block of Genesis Drive yelling for help just after 7 p.m. last night. He initially told the officers he was abducted from the South Shore Station in Michigan City but later admitted going to the train station to sell a form of marijuana called “seven” to a regular customer.

The teen told the officers he asked the customer to take him to buy Swisher cigars. They drove to LaPorte where he made the purchase. Afterward the teen says he was driven to a remote area, robbed of his marijuana, $220 cash and his iPhone 5 and left. He told the officers he had to run through six cornfields before arriving at Genesis Drive.
