Investigation Ongoing After High School Signs Vandalized

 
 

LaPorte Police are investigating after several items were vandalized at the High School.

Officers were notified by LaPorte Schools Superintendent Mike Fraze. He claims that sometime between Friday and Monday, six LaPorte High School Marching Band signs were defaced.

The signs indicated a Championship from the 2014 Marching Band Sectionals. According to a press release, black spray paint was used to deface the signs. Total losses are estimated at around $450.

The LaPorte Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying possible criminal activity.

An investigation is ongoing.
