Knox High School Students Gathering Donations for Serenity Garden

Engraved name bricks are still for sale to be placed in the Serenity Garden in downtown Knox.

Serenity Garden is a project Knox High School students are eager to start once the weather is nice. The idea behind the project is to beautify an area where an older building was demolished some years ago. A gazebo is planned for construction and benches will be set up in the garden as well.

Knox City Council members personally donated money for a bench for the space. Several bricks and benches will be included in the garden.

There is still time to help with donations to this effort. Bricks are still for sale up until April 1. Donations are welcome as the project totals $17,000. Just over $3,200 has been gathered so far. Granny’s Market will be providing plants and flowers this spring.
