A drill was conducted Monday morning at Knox High School and the Knox Middle School to practice the school corporation’s lockdown procedure.
The school corporation often prepares for lockdown situations by practicing protocols and other procedures on a semi-regular basis. The drill was accompanied by a K-9 unit out of Starke County.
Knox Schools Superintendent A.J. Gappa advised multiple times that the procedure was only a drill.
