Pulaski County Residents Asked to Participate in Development Survey

Residents of Pulaski County are being asked to share their thoughts on the area’s positive aspects, and perhaps a few challenges that lie ahead.

Pulaski County is one of six communities in the Hoosier state that is participating in the Hometown Collaboration Initiative. The HCI is targeted toward communities with a population of 25-thousand or fewer, are looking to expand, and have money to invest in the program.

An online survey is asking residents to provide input on the community’s quality of life, economy, and local leadership. The HCI Initiative in Pulaski County has a 15-member committee helping to lead the effort. Representatives say it’s important to invest in growth, retention and overall prosperity.

A paper version of the survey is available at the Pulaski County Courthouse and several public library locations. The online survey can be found at www.indianaHCI.org/Pulaski.

The survey is due before Friday April 24th.

A community forum will be held in early May to help residents learn more about the survey results.
