Fathers day is fast approaching and if you’re still searching for that special gift, Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in North Judson can assist. Ride the rails and soak up local scenery during Mint Festival Weekend, Saturday, June 20 and Sunday June 21.
There are two types of rides available; a 10 mile round-trip excursion to English Lake/Kankakee River that will leave the depot at 12:30 pm and the longer 20 mile round-trip excursion to LaCrosse that lasts approximately 2 hours and leaves the depot at 2:00 pm. Passengers have the choice of riding in either a vintage commuter coach, an open-air car or a vintage caboose.
