Starke County Jail Readies On Site Video Visits

Starke County Justice CenterThe Starke County Jail is now accepting registration times for on site video visits.

According to information released by Sheriff Bill Dulin, the visits will take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. Those interested in signing-up for a registration time can visit the website jailatm.com.

Parties visiting the jail for an on site video visit are expected to have their driver’s license available 15 minutes prior to the visitation, itself. Dulin says that all of the communication is recorded during the process.

Sheriff Dulin also says that inmates can now e-mail friends and family within the visitation system. That process was part of a bill sponsored by State Representative Tom Dermody.

The e-mails cost $0.50 cents each and can be reviewed by law enforcement at the jail.
