Dessauer presented Tom a giant check for $10,500 from GoFundMe at the end of his show yesterday.

Tom has another round of chemotherapy scheduled when he returns from his trip. His appetite is returning, and his weight has leveled off after a significant drop. He will return to the WKVI airwaves on Monday, Sept. 21 but will be checking in periodically during his trip. Tom and his travel companions will also be posting throughout their journey on in the Facebook group Tommy B’s journey through beating cancer.
