The victim of an officer-involved shooting southwest of North Judson has been airlifted.
A deputy from the Starke County Sheriff’s Office was involved, and the Indiana State Police have been called in to investigate. Details are sketchy at this time, but ISP officials confirm no officers were injured. There’s no word on the victim’s condition, and no names have been released. The North Judson-Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department cleared an area for MedFlight to land near the high school early this afternoon.
