The Pulaski County Republican Party has chosen a new county clerk to serve the remainder of Tasha Foerg’s term. She’s moving out of the area and resigning from that job at the end of the year.
Pulaski County Recorder Christi Hoffa was the lone candidate for the office. Party officials chose her to replace Foerg during a Tuesday night caucus. She will take over as clerk in January.
Pulaski County Republican Party Chairman Blair Todd says a caucus will be scheduled in early December to choose a new county recorder. Before it can be scheduled, Hoffa needs to submit her resignation notice in writing.
