The Winamac Town Council met in a special session Monday to reorganize for 2016. Kenneth McFarland was officially reappointed as council president, and Tom Murray was selected to serve as vice president.

New council member Jim Watkins took his seat for the first time, and new town attorney Justin Schramm was officially appointed to the position. He replaces longtime attorney John Kocher, who stepped down at the end of 2015. Dave DeLorenzo was chosen to serve as park manager, replacing Rick Dilts. Other department heads and town officials were reappointed to their positions.

The Town Council also reappointed Tim Murray as a citizen member of the Board of Zoning Appeals. Additionally, council members approved the appointments of town representatives for various boards and commissions.
