Knox Residents Arrested on Meth Charges

Starke County Sheriff's Department BadgeA three month investigation has led to the arrest of a pair of Knox residents on meth-related charges.

The Starke County Sheriff’s Department says they recently served a search warrant in the 9800 East block of 50 South. Methamphetamines, syringes, and several one pot meth labs were allegedly located at the residence during the search.

Other equipment was located that authorities say is often used the manufacture of methamphetamine. The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team was called to the site to help dismantle the equipment.

27-year-old Timothy Slattery was arrested on charges of Possession of Precursors with Intent to Manufacture, Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of a Legend Drug, and Possession of Paraphernalia. His bond has not been set at this time.

In addition, 30-year-old Cathryn Gummalauskas was taken into custody at the scene on two outstanding warrants and charges of Visiting a Common Nuisance. She is facing bond a $1,300.

An investigation is ongoing.
