North Judson Police Investigating Sunday Robbery

North Judson Police are looking for a man who robbed a store Sunday evening and fled on foot. He went into the Dollar General on East Talmer Avenue around 4:45 p.m., according to police, waited until the clerk was alone, approached and demanded money. The clerk cooperated, and the man left. He did not display a weapon, and nobody was injured.

He’s described as a middle-aged white man who was wearing a white baseball cap, a black sweatshirt and jeans. The man left the store heading east then south towards a wooded area.

Officers from the North Judson Police Department responded to the area within a minute of receiving the call, and were assisted by the Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Knox and Indiana State Police.

The suspect is believed to be the same man who robbed the Dollar General store in Plymouth Friday evening. The photos below are from that store’s surveillance camera. Anyone with information about the North Judson holdup is asked to call the police department at 574-772-5914.
