N.J.-S.P. School Board Approves Driver’s Education Offering

BluejayNorth Judson-San Pierre High School will offer driver’s education classes this summer on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $330 per student, with a $100 deposit payable to the school to reserve a spot. The class can accommodate up to 30 students. Principal Dr. Annette Zupin says enrollment is open to students from other area high schools as well as North Judson-San Pierre.

The school board Tuesday night approved the instructor salary and benefits package and expenses for car rental, gas and insurance, for an estimated total of $9,284. If the class fills up, $9,900 will be generated. Any extra money will be placed in an escrow account for next year’s driver’s education class.
