Tippecanoe Township in Pulaski County has a new trustee after the Democratic Party caucused for the post on Wednesday.
Residents of Tippecanoe Township elected Martie White unanimously according to a press release from the Democratic Party. Applications for candidacy to the seat were accepted for 10 days, but the caucus was held after 48 hours of waiting. White was the lone candidate applying for the office.
She will resume the term of former Tippecanoe Township Trustee Kathy Keller who resigned from the post on April 15th. The term will be served until the end of 2018.
